Baby Shower Decoration in Lahore: A Two-Week Plan

A baby shower is usually planned by someone who is not the guest of honour, in a home, in about two weeks. This is the order we suggest doing it in, and what to buy or book at each step.
Decide the palette before anything else
Three palettes cover almost every baby shower we set up in Lahore:
- Pastel - mint, peach, lilac and cream. Works for a gender-neutral shower and photographs softly in daylight. See pastel décor.
- Blue and white with silver - the classic for a boy. Blue party decorations.
- Pink and blush with rose gold - the classic for a girl. Pink party decorations and rose gold.
Pick two colours and one metallic and hold that line across the balloons, the banner, the table and the cake. A shower with five colours looks busy in photos; the same setup in two colours looks planned.
The pieces that do the work
You do not need everything. In practice these five carry the whole event:
- A letter banner - "Baby Shower", "It's a Boy", "It's a Girl", or the baby's name once it is chosen. Foil letters are reusable for the aqeeqah later.
- A balloon garland or arch on the main wall, behind the cake or seating.
- Character pieces - teddy bear balloons, baby bottle sets, cloud and star shapes. These sit on the table and fill gaps in the garland.
- A cake table - cake, cupcakes and one or two props. Keep it uncluttered; it is the second-most photographed spot after the wall.
- A photo corner - the same backdrop as the wall, or a separate small one, where guests take pictures with the mum-to-be.
Everything above is on Baby Shower décor and Baby Celebration décor, in stock, with delivery across Lahore and cash on delivery.
A two-week plan
Two weeks before Fix the date, the venue (home, lawn or a small hall) and the guest count. Choose the palette. If you want printed pieces - a printed backdrop, name balloons, custom favour boxes - order now; printing takes about a week.
One week before Order the décor you will put up yourself, or book the setup team. Decide the cake and who is bringing it. Confirm the seating for the mum-to-be: she should have a comfortable chair with a clear view of the room, not a stool in a corner.
Two to three days before Standard setups need this much notice. Confirm the timings with the team - setup at home usually takes an hour or two.
On the day Clear the wall and the floor in front of it. Keep the cake table away from direct fan or AC airflow. Take the photos in the first half hour, before the room fills.
Food, favours and the small things
- Favours - loot bags or treat boxes in the same two colours; they double as a thank-you and as table décor.
- Games - keep two, not six. A guess-the-date board and a short quiz are enough for a two-hour shower.
- Tableware - plain white plates with coloured napkins look more expensive than printed themed tableware, and cost less.
- Fillers - tinsel shred and confetti pouches to fill gift boxes and clear balloons, from gift box fillers.
What it costs
Our published ranges:
- Décor bought separately - most letter banners, balloon packs and character sets sit in the low thousands; you can build a small table-and-wall setup for a few thousand rupees.
- Rs 15,000 - 60,000 - a full setup with a backdrop, balloon garland and styled cake table, installed by our team. The range depends on the size of the wall and the number of balloons.

After the shower
The same palette usually carries into the next two events - the welcome-home setup when the baby arrives, and the first-month (chilla) celebration. Keep the foil letters and the reusable props; we can rebuild around them and only replace the latex.
